Business Analyst – QA Tester

Analyze an organization and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology. Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution. Research, gather and synthesize information.

Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Communication and Documentation: Collaborate with users, gather requirements, and document meeting notes. Create and deliver presentations to stakeholders, conveying project status, updates, and requirements. Serve as a liaison between developers and clients, ensuring clear communication.
  • Project Management: Work on multiple projects, managing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. Develop, monitor, and update project plans, ensuring timely delivery of milestones. Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to management and stakeholders.
  • Requirement Analysis and Documentation: Analyze business needs and document requirements and additional deliverables. Ensure all documentation is accurate and comprehensive. Validate requirements through testing and feedback loops.
  • Quality Assurance and Testing: Perform end-to-end testing to ensure applications meet business requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve issues, working with development teams. Validate requirements and functionality through testing processes and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Application Understanding and Support: Develop and maintain an understanding of the applications. Provide technical support and troubleshooting to users and stakeholders. Document and communicate findings and resolutions clearly.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Coordinate daily with developers, integrating business requirements into technical solutions. Facilitate collaborative sessions to foster teamwork and resolve conflicts.

Requirements

  • Public Trust Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business analysis and quality assurance testing
  • 3-5 years of experience in Project Management
  • 7-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and business requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in creating presentations and working with PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle and quality assurance processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
