CNOG/GNOC Tier II Tech Incident Manager

Chantilly, VA, 1099, W2

This department is open 365 days a year and shifts follow a coordination called “Panama Work Schedule (work 2 days, 2 days off, work 3 days)” which a 12 hour shift. The work hours/shift work is discussed will be further discussed in the interview.


  • Provide 7x24x365 Tier II technical support for customer’s WAN and LAN networks
  • Monitor and report Tier II repair of the networks using tools such as HP OpenView
  • Communicate with customers, engineers and management during trouble resolution or escalation
  • Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades
  • Update database(s) and documentation as part of the repair effort
  • Monitor and analyze network performance and data input/output reports to detect problems


  • TS/SCI CI Poly Clearance
  • 10 years of related/relevant work experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates s to a master’s and 4 years, Bachelors and 6 years, Associates and 8 years or HS and 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education.
  • Must comply with DoD 8570 IAT Level 2
  • Hands on experience with network switches and routers
  • Strong network troubleshooting experience
  • Familiarity with Incident Management processes
  • Good verbal and writing skills
