Network Configuration Management Specialist

Client has an opening for a Network Configuration Management Specialist to be responsible for the execution of the CM process, which includes operating the defined and agreed process, ensuring it interfaces with all other relevant processes, reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of the process, performing process audits and managing the process improvement cycle.

Responsibilities

Ensure that the Configuration Management (CM) environment facilitates product review, and change and defect tracking activities, and preferably has experience or training in the use of CM tools
Develop the CM plan Reporting progress based on change requests
Audit configuration management activities by validating results against the baseline
Report findings to change manager for final review and recommendation of revisions as appropriate

Requirements

TS/SCI FSP Clearance
2 years of experience with technical drawings and AutoCAD or similar software
Thorough working knowledge of reading RFP’s, blueprints, specifications, and system documentation
Working knowledge of drafting methods and basic understanding of engineering drawings and principles
Appreciation of construction methods and schedules
Understanding of configuration management principles
