As a Principal Systems Engineer for Exchange Messaging / Instant Messaging, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our Client’s work depends on a Systems Administrator joining the team to bring professionalism and initiative to a fast-paced environment that offers extensive options for training, certification, and career advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Administer large deployments of Microsoft Exchange environments and messaging systems
  • Configure and support the Exchange environment
  • Perform regular checks and conduct troubleshooting as necessary
  • Provide technical support to end users for software and/or hardware issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve training, networking and software issues
  • Utilize ticketing systems to resolve user problems (Jira)
  • Serve as technical and functional training expert
  • Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions
  • Perform research, procurement, deployment and configuration of systems
  • Present clear, organized & concise information to audiences to enable business decisions

Requirements

  • Top Secret Clearance (SCI eligibility and a T5 or T5R within the last 5 years)
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline. MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related disciplines preferred.
  • 17+ years overall experience
  • DoD 8140/8570 IAT II compliance
  • Strong oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to convey conceptual ideas both written and verbally; Strong problem-solving skills
  • Skills in Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Windows Server, Outlook Exchange, Systems Engineering
  • Certifications: CompTIA – Security+ – CompTIA
