Sr. Principal Systems Engineer – SCCM/MECM

• Provide expertise with Microsoft’s SCCM/MECM
• Leverage SCCM/MECM to provide security patches, vulnerability patches, hotfixes and other updates to user workstations and servers
• Administer SCCM software delivery, including various methods such as running advertised programs, machine targeted, user targeted, Application Library, and Software Center
• Manage and administer SCCM client health, including the process of getting clients healthy
• Provide expertise with PowerShell for custom reporting
• Develop advanced technical solutions for the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures
• Troubleshoot highly complex system hardware and software issues
• Develop training materials for end users on the proper use of hardware and software
• Develop implementation plans for software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
• Perform In Place Upgrades as needed for servers and laptops
• Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels
• Ensure workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions
• Lead efforts to ensure data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations
• Conduct advanced hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure. compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
• Develop performance and security plans for computers that meet the needs of network users
• Evaluate existing systems and plans long-term strategies
• Coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
• Serve as a team or task lead as needed

• SSBI T5 Clearance
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline. MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related disciplines preferred.
• 17+ years overall experience
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT II compliance
• Strong oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to convey conceptual ideas both written and verbally; Strong problem-solving skills
• Skills in Complex Systems, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft Windows Server, Systems Engineering, Systems Management
• Certifications: CompTIA – Security+ CE – CompTIA
