The Systems Administrator will utilize knowledge and experience with standard Information Assurance (IA) concepts, practices, and procedures to plan and accomplish goals pertaining to the enclave environment.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, maintain, and administer both a physical and virtual Linux and Windows based server/client infrastructure
Manage Virtual environment utilizing MS Hype-V technology
Procure and repair components necessary to maintain information technology systems
Administer Cross Domain Solution
Conduct systems analysis and summarize the data collected in a technical document written in a manner that is understood and usable by the decision makers
Maintain and audit system backups
Manage and maintain implementation of SharePoint and Exchange servers
Manage and maintain Network security appliances and switches
Perform Flaw Remediation / System Patching
Utilize native information systems tools in performing analytical and advisory functions related to OS functionality
Recommend and schedule IA related repairs in the computing environment
Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment via both active directory and local policies
Analyze system performance for potential security problems
Assist IA staff in identifying system vulnerabilities and performing incident response
Configure, Optimize, and test client/server infrastructure to ensure they comply with security policy, procedures, and technical requirements utilizing DISA SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC) tool & DISA STIGs
Maintain, and upgrade network operating systems software (licensing/versioning) and hardware to comply with IA requirements
Evaluate potential IA security risks and take the appropriate corrective and recovery action

Top Secret Clearance
DoD 8140/8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II cybersecurity certification is required (i.e.,CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP)
Demonstrated experience in Linux and windows operating system administration
